What are You Saying?

Lynns copy

Labor Day has come and gone, the children are back in school, and it is time to get those summer pictures organized and put onto pages.  Don’t stress though…just keep things simple and fun.

September's Feature Grid Paper is Cocoa

With the promise of cooler weather around the corner what better way to help celebrate the coming of Fall then to feature our Cocoa grid paper?

Thank you Betsy!

I received this wonderful page and a note from Betsy. I love how she "blocked in" the title using pieces of patterned paper and photo pieces to fill between the words. Thank you Betsy for sharing this with us.

Hi Tami & Kevin,

I took your class in Manchester NH in May. I have NEVER enjoyed a class more! I came home inspired. I love my photos and I'm not into making the page so fancy you loose sight of the pics. so I REALLY liked the photo blocking concept. I received the best compliment from my 17 yr old son the other day. When he saw these pages he said to me "wow mom it's like I'm standing on shore right there. ( he's the one in the canoe at the top.) It's all thanks to you. I was so happy I had to share the page with you. If you think it's good enough to post you can. I'm sure I have a lot of room for improvement. Thanks again for refiring my creative juices.

WOW!! Thanks Penny!

WOW!! Can I say it again? WOW - I love your site, your blog, your store, your ideas, the colors, the kits, - WOW! I am so totally impressed..... I just saw your ad in my new Simple Scrapbooks Magazine that I just received yesterday and was browsing through and it caught my attention so I checked it out! I've done some mosaic pages and love them, but haven't seen anything like what you are showing me on this site! Love it! We go to NASCAR races and I usually do one Mosaic page of my left over pictures for each race. But from what I've seen - I'll be doing more focused pages, too! Thanks so much!

Penny

Quite a Team!

A wonderful compliment from Michelle - thanks Michelle!

I took your class in Manchester. I took nine classes at the convention and yours was my favorite! I learned what I went there to learn, and I had fun doing it. I even left with a completed layout! I also visited your booth and bought some grid papers and Corner Stones. You and your husband are quite a team.

Thanks Pat! It was great having you in class.

I received this very sweet note from Pat...

Hi Tami, I just wanted to let you know what a delight it was to take your class at the Manchester CKC this past weekend. We took the class on Thursday night and really enjoyed ourselves. You and Kevin are great instructors with a lot of patience. My friends and I are so hooked on the mosaics that we bought a pack of every color grid paper. We worked on mosaics when we went to the crop Friday night and showed our other 3 friends that came in that day what we had learned. They were amazed how quickly we learned to do it. Of the six classes I took this weekend, I can honestly say I enjoyed yours the most.

Thanks for everything,
Pat M.

First Mosaic

Photos of fall leaves make great subjects for photo mosaics. Check out this page created by Lynn:

"I just had to send you a picture of my first Mosaic attempt. I purchased your kit at the CK Convention in Portland and thought the fall pictures would be a perfect opportunity to give it a try.  I think it turned out really good, but did take me 2 hours to complete."

Lynn

I have been very impressed with many of the pages ladies are bring to the conventions. Thank you Lynn for e-mailing this one so that we can all enjoy your labors! (I think it turned out really good too!)

"I want to say thank you again, I have so much fun putting pages together and then changing my board. This enables me to have sooooo many pictures up at one time, and my co-workers are so impressed, if only they knew just how easy this is."

Lynne Daffern

Thanks Lynne. Your board is a great work of inspiration!

Eva,  Those are some great looking sons you have. You must be very proud of them. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Thank you so much for sharing this precious memory with me and with others. We are so grateful for the sacrifice your family has made for our country.
