Have you ever walked by the first aid office at a theme park? It has always been one of those places I noticed in passing but never expected to need. Kevin and I usually take bandages with us, for potential scrapes or blisters; however, in this case, we needed some BIG bandages!
It was a beautiful day at Busch Gardens in Tampa. It was so enjoyable and relaxing to be there. School is in and we practically had the park all to ourselves. But, in the middle of all the fun, Alexis tripped down the stairs as we were leaving the theater showing Katonga. It is never a fun thing to see your child upset and bleeding.
Cole's stroller came in very handy - it seemed like a long ride to the first aid office (where there was a very nice lady with some BIG bandages.)
The sweetest thing in this experience...
the kindness of a little girl who saw Alexis in pain and gave her a butterfly she had saved from the show. I wish I could thank her for her thoughtfulness and tell her how her kindness made a difference. She made Alexis feel better.
