I've been playing around with a few of the floral shots that I've taken recently. The 6x6 grid paper has been a wonderful format to work with. I love the variety of layouts - even on this small 6x6 page!
- I started (top left) with a basic 1 x 1 inch square cut design.
- Next (top right) I show a detail shot cropped into an 3.25 x 3.25 inch block, surrounding by 1x1 inch squares.
- I continued using close up shots in the bottom two layouts; however, I matted the photo (bottom Left) and trimmed it to 3 x 3 inches. Then I surrounded it with a combination of 1 x 1 inch squares and 1 x 3.25 inch strips.
- The last layout was created keeping most of the focal photo in one piece. The large photo (bottom right) is 3.25 inch h x 5.5 inch w. Two 1 x 5.5 inch strips create a border running above and below the focal photograph.
Each of the above pages were made using Mosaic Moments white 6x6 grid paper. I used 2 (4x6) photos to create each page.
