My oldest daughter will be going away to college next year - a big reminder of how, ready or not, things change. So, I have been working a little harder to make this year an extra special one. Spending the week of Thanksgiving in Orlando was wonderful. The weather was perfect. The parks stayed open longer to accommodate the crowds, we got to do everything we wanted to do, and it was beautiful! I could have stared at the castle for hours!
New camera (Nikon Coolpix S51) update - it absolutly served it's purpose! It was great to have a pocket sized camera. The photos - well, I think they turned out great (though I sometimes missed having more zoom.) The night landscape mode was very useful after dark.(See image of Mickey's hat.) It can be very difficult to get a night shot - even a still shot - without blur caused by shake. The photo above was taken without the use of a tripod. I worked to hold the camera still - the cameras VR mode did the rest.
We had arranged to return home the day before thanksgiving but then opted to stay one more night. It was a little tricky to get the Thanksgiving Day Sale up and running at the same time we were running around Magic Kingdom. Hopefully you will forgive my last minute, hand written, front page:
We are back, prepared to pack and ship your orders!
We are always thrilled and often amazed with the fabulous response to Mosaic Moments. Thank you for all your support.
Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving.
