Today I dug out my macro lens. I haven't used it for awhile. With all of the flowers blooming in my yard it seemed to be calling to me from the dark cozy storage spot in my camera bag.
My brother called just as I was walking out the door. I was a little distracted with conversation while I was shooting; but, I did manage to get a few shots - Signs of Spring at the Potter House.
These adorable little flowers grow out of a little tuft of grass. I've had this plant for three years. It is slow growing and it doesn't seem to spread a lot. It would be a perfect addition to a rock garden.
I first discovered Clematis (pictured above and below) while living in Washington State. I would pass a neighbors home each day and wonder what that gorgeous flowering vine was. I currently have two in my garden. The purple one decorates my mail box. The white Clematis grows up an iron trellis beside my garage.
There a a few new comers in my garden...
A sweet surprise...
Kevin stopped by Costco on the way home from the airport on Monday. He was going to bring home some flowers; but, I have wanted to grow blueberries and he found 4 wonderful large plants. I was so excited!
I am hoping it won't rain too hard tomorrow. I need to get out and take more pictures. I didn't get a change to photograph the forget-me-nots!
