In many households in America, Christmas is a highly anticipated event. We buy holiday decorations and embellish everything from the bathroom towels to the mail box! A lot of thought and preparation goes into creating wonderful holiday memories each year.
In my home, as a child, we had a tradition of unwrapping a gift on Christmas Eve. The gift was always a nightgown or pajamas made by my mother. When Christmas morning arrived we would be down the stairs by 6 AM ready and waiting in the new pajamas that kept us snug through the night.
I love the idea of a Christmas pajama tradition. How cute my Christmas pictures could be with everyone all color coordinated! Only one problem, unlike my mother, I don't know how to sew! So, each year I do a search for the "perfect pajamas." Most of the "family pajamas" seem to be perfectly coordinated plaids. (Not exactly what I had in mind.) I had almost given up my quest - until this year. In early October, I received this ad from the Children's Place in the mail...
The Children's Place is offering color coordinating pajamas for children and adults!
I am so excited - I have ordered way more then my fair share of this sleepwear.
They are available in red, blue, pink, green, and purple.
A tip - Keep in mind they do not distinguish between men's and women's in the adult sizes - I ordered size medium for myself and I had to re-order a smaller size. Medium is like a men's medium.
The fleece is VERY warm - like wearing a blanket.
