How many times can you play tic-tac-toe without being bored silly?
It has been a long time since I played a game of tic-tac-toe; but I love creating "tic-tac-toe layouts" using Mosaic Moments 8x8 grid paper.

Each page gets 9 photos - all are 2.125 inches squared. It sounds "same ole" but if your photos have variety the pages end up being fun to look at.

Sometimes there is just so much to see and I don't want to leave anything out!

Counting the Ways

For the second year in a row I will be away from home on Valentine's Day. So, I am thinking about Love, what it means to me, and how I can celebrate even though I will be away from Kevin and my little sweeties.

You've heard the poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning that says "How do I love thee? Let me count the ways." 

Taking inspiration from her, from now until Valentine's Day, I am expressing a reason each day that I love Kevin - hopefully he is enjoying it almost as much as Cole enjoyed counting down the days until Christmas. Today's Example (31 days until Valentine's Day):

Birthday Package Pocket

Here is a fun and very quick idea to dress up a birthday package while making a "place" for your gift card.

I used a printed vellum (cut to the same width as the package but a little shorter in height.) I used dots adhesive - there are better options specially made for vellum but, I had the dots on hand. I applied the adhesive to three sides and voila! - a pocket for my tag shaped card.

Out with the Old...

January's Photo Solution:

Problem:

Christmas is over and you have lots of new things. If you are like me, you may find yourself having a difficult time weeding out the old to make room for the new. Some people would say if you haven't looked in a box for more then 6 months or a year, just throw it out without looking inside. I can't make myself do that, however, I do need to eliminate some things to make room in my closets.

Solution:

Grab your camera and a note pad. Prepare to bag up those items for the donation bin; however, before you do, TAKE PICTURES of the things that have sentimental value. What memories come to mind as you sift through the items that are stashed in your closet or stuffed in storage boxes? (Write notes about the items on your note pad as memories come to mind.)

I photographed each item and now I am ready to part with them. It is great to have a solution that helps me give up the bulk without giving up the memories I cherish.
