One afternoon, as I was getting my almost three-year-old son, Atticus, down for a nap, I noticed the light was really beautiful in his bedroom and grabbed my camera. Nap-time was delayed and it was definitely worth it! I love all his different expressions and this page pattern by Tami Potter was perfect for capturing the moment.
Materials used:12x12 grid paper in sunflower, 10 photos, cream cardstock, along with the 1 inch punch, metal ruler, craft knife, Dotto adhesive, Lil Chizler, and cutting mat.
I also used the quick glance cutting guide extensively for this layout.
The sunflower yellow paper picks up the yellow striped shirt Atticus is wearing and makes a pleasing contrast to the shades of blue and gray on the walls.
I kept the journaling very simple because the photos are self-explanatory and used my computer to print the words in order to keep it neat and clean. The font is "Caviar dreams".
