Page Pattern Description: Top row - left to right: 3.25h x 4.375w, 3.25h x 3.25w, and 3.25h x 3.25w. Next - Six 2.125h x 2.125w inch blocks are positioned beside a 6.625h x 4.375w inch mat. Several 1x1 inch blocks finish the page with mosaic style.
Tampa Busch Gardens by Tami Potter
Page Note: I decided to use one 4x6 photo to fill the Six 2.125 inch squares shown. I cut my photo into six 2x2 inch squares - which of course didn't fit the grid. so, I used my 2.125 inch square punch to create six mats and I layered my 2x2 inch photo squares on top.
I show a lot of page patterns using just one 12x12 page. You might wonder... "How can I create a double page spread using one pattern?"
Here is one suggestion:
Flip it! and create a mirror image for the second page.
(Flipped pattern shown below)
I love the Mosaics - and this Flip It Mosaic Style is perfect to use for two-page layouts! I'm really anxious to try one now

Being new to the website, I am confused, are the page patterns for sale? I have looked and do not see them in the catalog. Thanks, Debbie

Tami is showing here how to use the Grid paper and what sizes to cut the photos and, in this case, photo mattes. The Grid paper can be purchased in kits in various colors and Tami also sells kits with the grid paper, corner stones and mattes to fit the grid paper. Go to the top of the page where it says shopping.
I like this flip it idea. I will have to try it - somehow it never occurred to me but I love all the layouts done using this system.

I'm referring to the flip it pattern. Are they for sale?

Debbie, The Page Patterns are free. You can print them out if you like. If you are looking for page kits check out www.snapncrop.com.
Have you seen our "How Do I?" blog - http://tamipotter.typepad.com/how_do_i/
It might help explain our system better.
Thank you Barbara and Diana for your comments - and Diana for a great explanation. :)

Thank you all for responding to my query. I will go back to the download area in the catalog. This is still quite new to me (internet & such) Have just discovered Mosaics and am very hooked. Again, Thank you all. Debbie

Debbie, I probably should have been more specific. You can print the page patterns from the blog - just click on the pattern you like. A window will come up that shows just the pattern image - then tell your printer to print.

Thank you for clarifying the technique. I have discovered an easier way to put my albums together. Thank you and everyone who responded to my questions. Debbie
