Page Pattern Description: Each page has three different columns, making a total of six columns for the whole two page spread.
Left Page: The first column is a border using three 2.125 squares and two sets of 1 in. squares. Starting from the top, the second column has a 4.375 square with a row of four 1 in. squares beneath it, and the bottom has a 4.375w x 5.5h block.The last column is made up of a 4.375w x 6.625 block with a 4.375 square underneath it.
Right Page: The First column has a 4.375w x 6.625 block with a 4.375 x 1 strip. Below this is a row of four 1 in. squares with two more 4.375 x 1 strips at the bottom. The middle column begins at the top with a 4.375 x 5.5 block, a row of four 1 in. squares sits below it, and the bottom of this row has a 4.375 square. The last column makes another border for this entire page with three 2.125 squares and two sets of 1 in. squares.
"Opening Presents" Is also the page pattern example for this month. A great tip is to use detail shots for the borders. On this particular page, I used the large spaces in the pattern to show my brother and sister opening the presents since these are perfect spots for portrait photos. I used photographs of some of the presents my family received on Christmas as details for the border. Another tip is to get close up shots of ornaments and other decorations in the house.
