Mosaic Moments Page Pattern 106 - Mosaic Style with Two Large Photo Spots

Page Pattern Description: This pattern is mostly made up of 1 in. squares. This page also contains two 4.375 in squares and two 2.125 squares at the top and bottom of this page. These four spots are great to show portraits or other subjects that make great focal points.

In the pattern, the green and magenta areas would be two different photographs that can be cut into corner pieces. The orange and blue sections would also be two different photographs and are great for portrait oriented photographs. Use the Quick Glance Guide to help you plan which part of the photograph will fit in these specific spots.

Finally, the purple mosaic section can either be cut up into 1 in. squares as shown or make it a 6.625w x 2.125 block - you can add a photograph or a title in this spot.

Notice how I used the mosaic areas to show the different plants, gourds, and corn. These are excellent subjects for fall pages and make great mosaics. These photographs also give the page texture. Use the larger squares to show pictures of your family or other subjects you would like to use as your main focus.

Mosaic Moments Page Pattern 107 - Punch it Out

Page Pattern Description: This made up is completley made up of squares. The edges are made up of 1 in. squares (a total of 36 squares) and the inside has a total of sixteen 2.125 squares.

How can you get all those squares cut? Use the 1 in. and 2.125 in. punches! These punches help you cut photographs quickly and you do not have to worry about any measuring. These are highly recommended if you plan to make a page like this. These tools are also great for cutting out pattern paper or card-stock.

Consider using this pattern if you are having a difficult time choosing photos. It fits a total of 52 photographs! Or use the 16 larger squares for photos and use pattern paper or other embellishments as the 1 in. squares.

Mosaic Moments Page Pattern 108 - Two Column Design with Mosaic Accents

Page Pattern Description: This is a two column page that combines Large Blocks with a few Mosaic spots. The left column is five squares long. Along with two mosaic spots it also has (starting from the top) a 4.375 square, a 3.25w x 2.125 block, a 3.25w x 5.5 block, and a 3.25w x 4.375 block. The right column is four squares in length and is made up of a 4.375w x 5.5h block, a 4.375 x 3.25 block, and one mosaic spot.

"Hartford, Connecticut" supplies used: This page was created with one of Mosaic Moments'™ newest 12x12 grid colors, Coffee. Brick and Cocoa Paper Tiles were used to mat the photographs. There is also an Ivory Paper Tile and a corner metal accent as embellishments.

Mosaic Moments Page Pattern 109 - Puzzle Pattern with Large Title Strips

Page Pattern Description: This is a puzzle style pattern that is great if you do not need a particular focal point. The Long Strips on this page are perfect for long titles OR you can use these spots to add pattern paper. All the blocks are (starting from the top left corner) a 2.125w x 4.375h block, a 4.375w x 5.5h block, a 4.375w x 1 in. strip, and below this is a 4.375 square block. Next, in the bottom right corner is a second 2.125w x 4.375h block, to the left is a 4.375w x 3.25h block, and a 4.375 square block. At the very bottom of the page is a 8.875w x 1 in. strip. There are also some 1 in. to fill the rest of the spots.

Carob Cream and Almond Cream Paper Tiles™ were used for photo matting and embellishments (all were chalk inked for the distressed effect). There is also an Ivory 2013 Four Square Cornerstone (also distressed with Chalk Ink).
