Page Pattern Description:
This is a symmetrical Page pattern with some Mosaic accents. When a page is symmetrical, this means it looks exactly the same on both sides (this is the case if you split the page vertically in half). This pattern has a focal point, which is the 6.625w x 4.375h block near the top center of the page. Having one main focal point is a great option if you have one particular photograph that you want to stand out. Here I wanted most of the attention to be on the Governor's Palace at Colonial Williamsburg.
Above the focal point is a 6.625w x 1 in. strip. This is a perfect space for a title or journaling. On the left and right sides are mosaic accents. Use these spots for close up shots, a landscape (what I did on my page below), or pattern paper (if you do not have a photograph to add in these spots).
The Center Row of this page features a 4.375w x 3.25h block in the center and two 3.25 squares on both sides of it. Use the center for another stand out photograph. I really wanted some attention on the cute sheep, so I put him in the center. A bonus was also using pattern paper as the background, instead of a solid color Paper Tile - this gives the photo a little more attention.
The bottom row only has two 5.5w x 2.125h blocks. I love this size because your photos get a panoramic effect. Choose photographs that you want to give an elongated look.

"Winter in Williamsburg" - This layout is on Storm 12x12 Grid paper (currently unavailable on Snapncrop... check back soon!). The title and the Focal point are on Robin's Egg Paper Tiles™. An added embellishment was BasicGrey™ pattern paper. This was used as a photo background and as an accent for the focal point.
Photo Tip: Take photographs right after a snowfall for winter pages. This is a good time since the snow hasn't become dirty and uneven yet. These photographs were taken the morning after a snow storm. Notice how beautiful the snow is? Don't wait! Take snow photos as soon as you can for a Winter Wonderland Page.
