Page Pattern Description:
This is one of my favorite patterns so far this year! I love the symmetry and the mosaic detail. It just works and flows so well. This layout is also wonderful since there are various sizes of blocks. This way you can fit both large and smaller photographs.
The first row is a border completely made up of 2.125 squares. These spots for the detail shots. Examples: if you went on a family vacation use photographs of different spots you visited, if you visit a garden show different flowers you liked, or show close up portraits of each member in your family.
The second row has a 6.625w x 4.375h block where you can fit a whole 4x6 photograph. This is the focal point of the page. Beside the center is two border columns made up of 1 in. squares. This page is wonderful if you only captured a few 'texture' shots. Having the mosaic borders make the focal point stand out. If you don't have a photo for a mosaic, use pattern paper that fits with your theme.
The bottom half of this pattern has a 4.375w x 3.25h block in the center with two 3.25 squares beside it. These spots would be for your other highlight photos. The very bottom features a 6.625w x 1 in. strip with 1 in. squares beside it. I highly recommend using the strip for a title but, if you do not want a title you can substitute it for pattern paper.
Supplies used for "Rodriguez Reunion": 12x12 Everglade Mosaic Moments™ grid paper, black Paper Tiles, and a Black 2014 four square Cornerstone.
Why have a title? - At Mosaic Moments, we emphasize adding journaling to scrapbook pages. Scrapbooking is all about saving memories and being able to share them with your family. Sometimes adding journaling may not work or is not necessary. But we think there should at least be a title (if you can't fit much journaling) 98% of the time.
