Page Pattern Description:
This pattern features photo stripping and is made up of three columns. You can also fit up to 8-9 photographs on this page. What makes this particular pattern unique is the four large blocks form a +shape, plus it has both strips and mosaic squares.
The first and third columns are identical. Both have rows of three strips on the top and bottom. The strips measure 1w x 3.25h. In the center of both columns are 3.25w x 4.375h blocks.
The center column has 1 in. squares for a mosaic look. At the top and bottom are rows are four 1 in. squares, and the center is made up of two rows of 1 in. squares. There are also two larger blocks that both measure 4.375w x 3.25h.
This page pattern is perfect if you have any landscape photographs. Place these photos in the strip areas. The four large photo blocks are great for any portraits or other photos you would like to highlight or do not want to cut up.
"Fishing Trip in Mexico" Page Created with this Pattern:
For my page, I used the photo strip spots to place the Mexican landscape photographs. In this case, these spots were not four separate photos. The top row was one photo and the bottom was also 1 photograph. I used the four larger blocks to show my friends' portraits and the seal since I wanted them to be the main focus of my page. In the center I cut up an adorable fish pattern paper to create a mosaic look. There are 6 photographs on my page.
I loved using the photos so much I decided to make a full 2 page layout. My friend and her husband took a trip to Mexico last year and I was excited to make this page for them.
Supplies I used for this layout are Mosaic Moments™ Ginger grid paper, and Tangelo Blast and White Paper Tiles™. The embellishments I used were a white 2013 Four Square Cornerstone, pattern paper from Fancy Pants Designs™, and alphabet stickers from Doodlebug Design Inc™.
