I had a little personal creative time today so, here are the photos I decided to work with:
I love working with bright colors and I really wanted to use the 4 photos shown at the bottom. They were photos of the paintings displayed along the main hall in the Eric Carle museum. It seemed like a fitting "embellishment" for my page. : )
I often photograph signs. I like to use them as informational "page titles" as shown in the page above. (Top right corner.)
When I finished this page, I showed it to Kevin, who is busy scraping the old paint off our house. He said, "It sure is bright!" Well, I thought, so is Eric Carle's work. I must have captured the mood!
Hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing holiday too!
I love what you did with this page & I am a big fan of your mosaic pages.
The pictures you took of the paintings remind me of a demo I saw at the Memories Scrapbooking expo here in NJ several years ago.
By using glossy card stock, stamping inks and some sponge pieces you could create abstract art of your own to fit with your pages.
By using colors that are similar to the backgrounds of photos you have taken you can make your own masterpieces!

Marina,
I love your idea. A friend did something similar with stamps. She called it Serendipity Squares. It sounds like so much fun.
