There is one place in the world that I can go and not think about ANYTHING else. I discovered this phenomenon a little over 10 years ago. I had a lot going on in my life (home, work, church responsibilities, etc.) and I had accepted another overwhelming task just a few days before Kevin and I had scheduled a vacation.
I was worried about being worried. I didn't want all that was on my mind to spoil our family fun. However, at the end of the week, when I returned home, I realized I had truly underestimated the power of "the happiest place on earth."
Going to Disney World isn't physically relaxing. By the end of the week I usually have a few blisters and my feet are screaming for a break; but, I welcome the activity and I am always grateful for the opportunity to experience "temporary selective amnesia" - forgetting everything in the world, excluding my children, for a little while.
One of my all time favorite attractions at Disney World is "Finding Nemo the Musical." Sometimes I need a reminder to "Go with the Flow," as advised by Crush.
