Alexis has been asking, for some time, if she could learn archery. No problem, I'll just dig the old bow and arrows out of the closet... oh wait, I don't have a bow or arrows! Alexis, however, seems to have a knack for getting what she wants. A very nice man agreed to give her a lesson.
I sent my camera with Kevin so he could capture the joy on her face as she pulled back the bow and let the arrows fly.
I created the "no frills" page above using Our Mosaic Moments™ Lotus Grid Paper along with some old Keeping Memories Alive™ paper I had filed away. (I thought the "hunter plaid" seemed appropriate.) I used one of my favorite basic page patterns - the chunky pinwheel. I added a bit of humor to the page with a Mosaic Moments™ Squirrel CornerStone and a little tag of journaling that says "Squirrels Beware." (Alexis would never intentionally harm a squirrel.)
