I could make several book lists in various categories, but lately I have been looking for books for my first grandchild due Feb 5. I have been searching out books that have been family favorites to fill her book shelf. Many of the titles are already on "our family library" shelves but they are "owned" by various members. SO...the search has been on for these books...

1. Jamberry by Bruce Degen
2. Dudley Bakes a Cake by Judy Taylor ill. Peter Cross
3. Hip Hip Hip Hippopotamus by Mary Rice Hopkins
4. Hippos Go Berserk by Sandra Boynton
5. Sloppy Kisses by Elizabeth Winthrop
6. Pigs in Hiding by Arlene Dubanevich
7. The Trouble With Gran by Babette Cole
8. Floss, Just Like Floss, First Snow...and more by Kim Lewis
9. Classic Pooh stories by a.a.milne
10. My Friend Noah by Debby Anderson

just to name a few...

Favorite Books:
mostly novels and too many to list, but here are samples -
Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Mila 18 by Leon Uris (and others of his)
Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss, a favorite since childhood
books by Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton, Agatha Christie, the Brontes, Debbie Macomber... and I've lately discovered Kristin Hannah, just finished 'firefly lane'

I love to read, get into a book and get little else done until it is finished, so I try not to start something new on Sunday evening...

I read so many books it is hard to list different titles but I can list a lot of authors I love in no particular order...Maria Ferrarella,Debbie Macomber, Diana Palmer, Maureen Child, Merline Lovelace, Brenda Jackson, Susan Mallory, and Nora Roberts just to name a few. I read at least an average of one book a day...depends on if I am scrapbooking how many :-)
