Spring Planning
Sometimes, planning for something is equally enjoyable to the event itself. Winter can sometimes be a little on the bleak side; but, we always have spring to look forward to.

My Spring planning:
1. VIsit the Cherry Blossoms - I am planning a trip to DC to see the cherry blossoms this year.
2. Planting Flowers - I am planning & preparing for my garden. In the past I've started vegetables from seed, this year I am going to get an early start with flower seeds too!
3. Spring Cleaning - Digging into the closets, the storage, and under the sinks to purge the excess so we will be "uncluttered" before it is time for deep spring cleaning!
4. Soccer - Signed the kids up for soccer. So, we will be rounding up shoes and knee pads etc. before they get started in March.
What are you doing to plan/prepare for the Spring? Add your list to our comments for a chance to win our weekly drawing.
Spring Planning:
1. I know when Spring is here the turtles in the lake come out of hibernation. I get so excited when I see the first one! Then it is time to stock up on floating catfish food, more bird seed and put out scraps of yarn/stuffing for nesting birds, clean hummingbird feeders and get fresh nectar for the season.
2. Put the gazebo cover back on upper deck. Put out wind chimes, statues, patio furniture and bright Spring flag on mail box.
3. Unwinterize the lake house near Branson, MO. Check for leaks from prior winter:( Visit my favorite scrapbook store in Branson called Scrapbooks Forever!
4. Attending a one day crop in March by Scrapology.
5. More Spring cleaning - even though it seems like I've been doing this all winter! Followed by more scrappin'

Spring planning:
1. Survive the jazz competition season with our grandson - two rounds of district competition, three programs at school and two rounds of state competition (band and show chorus) - all over by March 31. Then spring will arrive in Maine.
2. I'm all registered for CKC in Manchester for the last weekend in April and just itching to get there for classes and shopping - saving my money until then! This is my spring outing to celebrate the end of winter.
3. I'll really know it is spring when the ice goes out of the lake and we can begin planning to open up and clean the lake cottage for another summer season - ice has to go so we can get the boat in, no road...
