Julie Miller-Oconnor

1. One huge turning point in my life was when my brother died at age 46. I realized I should have called/visited him more. I live in Missouri and he lived in Arizona. It was easy to get caught up in working, raising a family and not making time for others. How wrong it must feel for my Mom to bury her youngest boy. That Hospice was an elightening experience. We had an awesome hospice nurse. I left Arizona with a new appreciation for life.

2. I was not a nurse for very long before I realized the life really is too short. I noticed that some (alot) of patients spent a lot of time bickering with family members over silly things.

3. There was a point in my life where I learned it is better to listen more and talk less.
