There are lots of memories inside our minds - sometimes we just need a little nudge to coax them out.
What are the First Five things that come to mind when you see this:
My List:
1.The first time I took my girls to the pumpkin patch I dressed them in denim overalls. (They were so cute!) They played with a pumpkin bean bag toss and climbed on bales of hay. Great fun - good memory.
2. It just isn't fall without that old favorite - "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown."
3. I've tried to grow my own pumpkins - so far I've had no luck but I will try again!
4. In 5th grade I entered a pumpkin carving contest (pretty much every kid in the 5th grade did it.) I was so excited until I got to school and saw the other kids with their "parent-help" carved pumpkins. Mine didn't look so good after all.
5. When my oldest daughter was little I called her pumpkin pie.

1. I love Fall! Pumpkins/pie/soup, apple cider, carmel apples.
2. Apple Butter Festival in Kimmswick MO - great times, crafts and biscuits-n-apple butter cooked in a copper kettle. I made candy apples in junior high. Guess I cooked the candy too long and they turned out like hard candy suckers with an apple inside :(
3. Apple and pumpkin picking at Eckerts/Stuckmeyer Farms.
4. Long sleeve shirts, jeans and jackets at the pumpkin patch.
5. Jack-o-lanterns
