I had today's post all planned out. I was going to enjoy the fireworks with camera (on tri-pod) and I'd have at least one really amazing shot for my photo inspiration. But, Kevin wasn't feeling well and ultimately we decided to skip the fireworks last night. (Busch Gardens has fireworks all summer - so we will catch them another time.)
Thankfully I had a backup plan for today. Yesterday morning Kevin took Cole to our neighborhood festivities. (They had a great time; but, that is probably why he didn't feel well later that night.) I saw him preparing the camera and I reminded him to take LOTS of pictures. I have Kevin well indoctrinated - he knows what I mean when I say "LOTS of pictures."
Mosaic Moments Photo !nspiration: Week 27
The photo above, taken by my wonderful husband, was a shot of some of the items provided for the kids to decorate their bikes before the parade. Not necessarily a shot many people would take, but Kevin knew that I would make use of it.
My Inspiration TIP of the Day is: When you can't be there yourself, make sure the person you hand your camera to knows... take those detail shots! :)
