When we started walking down the streets in the French Quarter I knew I wasn't going to have enough time to capture all that I wanted to. I really feel like I need a week to go back and snap all the wonderful colors and textures.
Mosaic Moments Photo !nspiration: Week 28
The
photo above is where it all began. It was one of the first "must stops" for my daughter who has a great fascination for old books. This store was loaded with them. In fact, it was difficult to walk down the narrow isles that were stacked not only with books on shelves but also on the floors.
As usual I was left behind while trying to snap as many shots as I could. I fell in love with the textures created by the chipped paint, old wood, and metal details.
I have plans for a "photo-art" page to be created with my French Quarter/New Orleans photos.
Fabulous Textures and colors surround us where ever we go. Vacation is a great time to capture the details and add them to our memory files.
Great pictures! I have several that I took on the last big trip with the hopes of adding them to pages to create a real feel for the places visited. Can't wait to see what you do!!
